HEURISTIX is a center for the study and overturning of wrongful convictions in European criminal justice systems.

Since the foundation of the center in 2012, each case is investigated by an international collective of people dedicated to human rights.

The objectives are (1) the prevention of wrongful convictions and (2) the correction of erroneous sentences in European countries.

The long-term goal is the creation of a complete database of wrongful conviction cases in Europe, freely accessible to the public and to researchers investigating this important topic.

You are welcome to use the contact form for enquiries about your case or about a person who might benefit from a free online consultation.

Supported languages: English, French and German.
